5 fat burning tips

These are 5 tips I absolutely swear by to ensure I burn extra those extra few pounds of fat. I can guarantee combined with a healthy diet that these tips work, you will lose weight. They work a treat for me, I have used them since day 1 and still do.

Fasted Cardio

Fasted cardio is what it says on the tin, doing cardio on an empty stomach. These may seem like your worst nightmare but it’s really easy simple, do it in the morning. I use this technique on weekends. Wake up, and work out before you eat. You will probably find you don’t even notice. The reason for this is that during your work out you are directly burning your body fat, and not the food you’ve eaten. This is so so good for losing body fat.

Green tea

The alternative to green tea is water with lemon and mint fused. I swear by both. I suffer with bloating and green tea/lemon water really helps reduce it. Not just that it’s full of antioxidants that help with your immune system, but it’s always enhanced my weight loss having just 1-2 a day. Plus it’s really cheap!

Weight training

This could be the best advice I could ever give you. Weight training is amazing. Something you might not know about weight/resistance burning is that you continue to burn calories up to 24 hours later! Who wouldn’t want that? Weight training is great for burning body fat, and it hasn’t got to be those intimidating machines at the gym, there’s bound to be something at home you can do a few reps of!

Eat more often

That’s right, more food! Well.. not quite. It’s proven that more frequent eating speeds up the metabolism and it always worked for me. Eat more snacks, 5-6 times a day is optimum. Obviously make sure it’s all healthy, low sugar snacks but frequent eating is good for your metabolism and we know what that means!

Don’t eat before bedtime

I know this contradicts slimming world, who dictate you can eat whenever you want. That may be the case, but if you are really pushing to drop those few extra pounds change this rule, and don’t eat within 2-3 hours of bedtime. You aren’t burning calories in your sleep, you’re eating and allowing it to sit in your stomach when you go to bed. Plus, most times at 8pm+ we are eating out of habit or boredom, it’s easily avoidable.

Try all of these things (100%) for a week, and if you are honest and good with your food I can guarantee you’ll not just feel better, but you should see an enhancement on your weight loss.
